The Space:
Unit B is on the 2nd floor up one flight of steps with a private entrance in the foyer. When not out exploring the area, there’s is a large screen TV in the living room and lots of cozy seating. Large windows provide tons of natural light but furnished with blinds for shade and privacy. Doors close off the bedroom from the other living areas. The kitchen is simple, but all the basics are included. With a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen, we have worked to provide modern comforts and all the amenities you’ll need for your stay in this 650 sq ft space. The 1926 building underwent an extensive renovation modernize the major systems while maintaining the beauty and original features of the property. Hardwood floors, large windows and original woodwork give this home old-world charm!
You will be staying in a renovated 1926 Spanish Colonial Revival building steps from Historic Downtown Melbourne. On a quiet, neighborly street, the Lincoln Guest House is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and the Indian River. The Indialantic beaches are just over the causeway, a quick drive.
Guest Access:
There are four one-bedroom units in the Lincoln Guest House. Other guests are likely to be onsite, but your own entry and large front and back yard offer privacy and separation.
The Neighborhood:
This charming apartment is located in an older, historical neighborhood with neighbors that take great pride in their street and community. It is a great location for business travelers, vacationers and Florida Institute of Technology visitors.
What's Nearby: two-and-a-half miles to the Melbourne International Airport and Florida Institute of Technology; three miles to the Indialantic beaches; 20 miles to Cocoa Beach and the original Ron Jon Surf Shop; close to all the engineering companies and less than a mile to Holmes Regional Medical Center and Wells Park

Getting Around:
Besides walking, biking and car, Space Coast Area Transit bus stops to the beaches and other downtown Melbourne areas are two blocks away. The Melbourne International Airport is just a short drive; both Uber and/or Lyft serve Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Other Things to Note:
The exterior of the building is monitored by 24-hour surveillance – which we’ve never had to use – but adds an extra level of security. There is a train that runs through downtown Melbourne and can be heard in the late evening and early morning hours. A floor fan is available in the unit if white noise is needed for light sleepers. There are four one-bedroom units in the building; you may occasionally hear other guests. Although only a couple blocks from downtown, the street is residential, so please respect our (11 pm - 8am) quiet hours. Off-street parking for one vehicle/unit behind the house is available. Beware, the archway over the driveway is narrow. A van or SUV is fine but please go very slowly under the archway; you may need to fold in the mirrors. Additional street parking for a second vehicle or larger trucks/vans is available on the other side of the street.
