Only negative is lack of air conditioning or even a ceiling fan / any fan -- this made it challenging to sleep at night in late August; keep that in mind if you are coming from the US and used to lower sleeping temperatures. "High in the mountains of Piedmont, the village of Albaretto has views over hazelnut groves and vineyards to the Alps. The property has a small terrace with sunshine and a view to die for. The accommodation is simple, clean and comfortable with Federico a warm and genial host. He even found some lost sunglasses for us. Highly recommended."

"We verbleven (in de zomer) met 6 volwassenen in het huis. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en ook rondom het huis en zwembad is lekker veel ruimte. Het uitzicht is geweldig en gaat nooit vervelen. De keuken is goed uitgerust, alleen het aantal glazen is wat aan de beperkte kant. De oprit naar het huis is erg steil en het in en uitrijden vraagt wat stuurmanskunst. Maar als je eenmaal bij het huis bent, is het genieten."
