"The host was accommodating to let us deposit our luggage before the actual check-in timing. Friendly and helpful staff that offers suggestions and help, they even loaned us bikes FOC to cycle around. Free WiFi in room although the only setback was the mattress is a tad soft to our preference. Overall worth the price paid"

"It’s a gem within the hustle & bustle. It’s a townhouse building within the residential area for more authentic local experience. 8mins walk to the main train station and 5mins walk to the Main Street - ZhongShan Street, 2km straight road full of eateries. "My stay at Champs de Roses was excellent. The room and facility was clean and it was nice to walk to the hotel after arriving by train. You can see the hotel across from the Hualien train station. However, what really made this stay nice was the exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful staff and service. From the concierge to the breakfast staff. The breakfast was also a favorite experience of mine. When talking to the staff, we learned the dumplings came from a local Hualien dumpling place...
