"We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Matosa and would highly recommend to anyone interested. Communication with the owner was great, and the house was well thought out. Kitchen was very well equipped and decor throughout is nice. We know the area very well so we knew where to go etc but for anyone that has not stayed you will need a car. Our only problem was the pool was not heated and the weather was not as warm as it normally is at this time of year so with two small children it was...

"This was a family event/vacation for eleven people ranging in age from 3 to 77 from different places in Europe and North America. The lovely villa was ideal with pools and beach nearby. It was beautifully equipped with everything for meals and games, etc for children. Our host, Nanette could not have been more helpful or gracious. "

"Amazing Villa and location within beautiful San Roque club grounds by the golf course. Lots located near by to venture to including bars, restaurants, beaches etc all being a small drive away. Villa owner Morag has been brilliant communicating throughout and ensured our stay was a great one! 9 of us in total including 5 kids and there was plenty of room for comfort. Highly recommend 😀"

"Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available."

"We stayed at the villa for a week in July 2024 as part of our anniversary plans. The were 11 of us including 3 couples with two 2 year olds. We were keen that everyone should have their own bedrooms with easy access to bathrooms. The villa is as described and the host communicated well with us during check in. "We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing villa, extremely comfortable and in a great location within walking distance to town of Benalup, you can venture with a short drive to the coast of Barbate, Zahara de los Atunes, Chiclana de la Fronter or to the beautiful town of Vejer.The villa is very well equiped everything a family would require, we were very impressed and would highly recommend it."

"Best villa we have ever booked absolutely spectacular. Couldn't get the kids out of the pool its massive. The villa surrounded by a high wall given a totally secluded environment. Close to shops, 7mins to a fantastic beach which goes on for miles. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic nothing was any trouble. If your thinking of this area you Couldn't go wrong booking here we cant recommend it highly enough. We will be back. "
