"Lovely Hotel, excellent staff but you do need a car."

"We stayed at the Ninfa Hotel at the end of November for a couple of nights. The staff here are engaging and dedicated, a very friendly and accommodating welcome. We had a guided tour of the facilities which are recently renovated and upgraded and it is all highly impressive. I recommend trying the restaurant - the food and attention to detail is superb. The inclusive breakfast provides choice and enough to set you up well for the day ahead. I cannot fault the experience, just wish we had stayed...

"After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

She greeted us warmly upon arrival and facilitated a smooth check in. She ensured that breakfast was to our liking and was most informative and helpful throughout the stay. "Great Ambiance- even though our room (“Biba”) 3rd floor window at knee height. Property not good for someone who cannot climb stairs. Food and service excellent! Would stay there again- great location relative to all to see in Barga and driving Tuscan countryside. Nice comfortable pool with nice chaises. Good value as excellent breakfast included. We couldnt find much info on hotel on internet but it turned out to be a real gem"

"Saavuimme seikkailujen jälkeen vihdoin paikkaan Casiliano.Pieni kylä ,jossa ei nyt ollut kuin 30 asukasta ja me ainoat turistit.Kylän ainoa ravintola kiinni. (auki vain pe-la)Sesonkiajan ulkopuolella. Isäntä Giorgio todella ystävällinen ja avulias. Majoitus 1489 tehdyssä talossa oli kokemus. Isännällä hieno SPA ,jota sai käyttää. Kylä ja seutu erikoinen .Lähin isompi kylä 10 km:n päässä,jossa ravintoloita ja kauppoja.Jos haluat olla rauhassa ja luonnossa,niin tämä kohde on sinulle."

"This was our first stay in this lovely cottage. Perfectly positioned for privacy and getting away from it all but only a few minutes drive from all the amenities you need. Although the cottage is in the woods you do not feel enclosed, the owners have created an oasis of peace with lovely views and a comfortable home. Highly recommend this lovely cottage in a beautiful area."

"Agriturismo Cornali has a beautiful, remote location in a mountain valley. The public spaces on the property are beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was simple but had everything we needed. They have a wonderful pool/spa, and the staff were incredibly friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The last 8km of the drive are on a very narrow mountain road so drive slowly. We would love to stay again!"
