The walls were dirty, there were cigarette burns on the bed cover, stains on the chair, the main office was cluttered with goods, if smelled strongly of mothballs and there was a baby cockroach on the front counter when we arrived. The front desk person seemed in a hurry to retreat to the back office and when we were confused about the key card flashing the front door red instead of green like the card said and like most key card systems do, he seemed annoyed that we didn't know to try the door. Yes, reader...this system flashes red when it's working! Would have been nice to have a warning. It was cheap (but still $80 with the Expedia discount), it was a bed, we slept fine, but be aware this neighborhood was super sketchy. We were worried about a car break ins from some of the wandering folks around the area, so be prepared to bring in anything that looks attractive to prowlers. Which is basically all our camping gear. 😬
