A work colleague recommended the place, and I’ve listened, I should have not.
On 2 out of the 5 nights I stayed, the room was serviced, but no towels provided, even after asking the front desk to make sure the room is properly serviced after the first occurrence. It’s kind of upsetting to arrive back from a 12 hours work day, and discover no towels are available. Should be an easy thing to address right? Not in this hotel. Calling the front desk - nada, no one picks up the phone. ‘Is a manager available to speak with?’ - of course not, it’s after 6pm! At the 2 times I had to come down asking for towels, I was offered with nothing but head nods. Asking the manager to call me during their work hours - nada. Asking for conditioner to be filled up in the shower - nada.
Look, the front desk staff was ok, feeling puzzled and confused with what’s going on, it’s really not their fault. It’s the management that chose not to address the situation and ignore the guest complaints that earned my first, and last, stay on this hotel and the low score it just received.
Now, I can imagine someone from the hotel will jump and write ‘we’re sorry… ‘ but you know what? That a day late and a dollar short, it won’t change anything; they had an opportunity to make good for my experience and they chose to ignore the guest. No mas para mi
