"This is a very clean convenient hotel with a great breakfast. However next time I would ask for a room further away from the open breakfast area where there was loud talking starting at 5:45 am!"

"Mill Creek Gardens far exceeded our expectations. The place is absolutely amazing! The accommodations are lush and very comfortable. We were given vouchers for breakfast at a restaurant in town. We came to see the Sandhill Cranes and will be back again!"

"The room was very clean and the beds were like heaven. The shower though has almost no water pressure.. but the extra toiletries were great. No need to pack shampoo conditioner body wash.. there was some structural cracks along the ceiling. But all in all in would totally come back"

"Rave reviews for this property! My wife & I, along with our teen daughter and 2 of her friends, visited over a long Fall weekend. The house is fantastic - very nicely updated, extremely well appointed with anything we needed (well-stocked kitchen w/ coffee, plenty of linens/towels, comfortable beds & furniture, etc), awesome layout allowing the girls to have a separate living area downstairs to hang out while my wife and I were on the main level w/ our dogs (pet-friendly… huge plus!). Outdoors was even BETTER - amazing views & access to the lake, plenty of seating along the lakefront (deck, gazebo) to relax and rejuvenate, outdoor games on-the-ready (cornhole, etc), and an excellent fire pit. Close to food, not terribly far from town. This was EXACTLY what we were looking for and needed. The hosts live next door - they were kind, and helpful. We will be back!"

"The Green Lodge comfortably accommodated our large group. In most rentals we end up having some guests sleeping on couches or even air mattresses but the lodge had a bed for everyone."

"My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait to relax and enjoy the house and the setting."
