There are endless trails to explore in the woods, a rowboat with life jackets for peaceful afternoons on the lake, games for both indoor and outdoor fun, and even a hammock to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings. "Our week long stay at this cozy, comfortable cabin surrounded by rolling hills was all we'd hoped for and more. We enjoyed waking to see deer and wild turkeys on the manicured lawn. The cattle in the adjacent pasture added to the bucolic beauty and serenity of the property. Jan is an excellent host who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have everything they could possibly need or want. "

"Great weekend! We spent the day on the lake and then grilled steaks and made s’mores over a fire. Excellent family getaway! This house is clean, decorated nicely, good sized and in a good location. 👍👍👍 communication with owners is stellar. There was a golf cart to use, we took a little drive on it to a private beach close by."

"Spent my birthday at the inn and dined there. The inn is appointed beautifully and the room I stayed in was comfortable and quiet. The history that the inn reflects is amazing! I was greeted warmly when I arrived and the staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast were fabulous and the food delicious! Beef wellington for dinner with vegetable and mashed potatoes. A hearty breakfast was served the next morning along with a fruit plate and coffee. It was a treat for me to celebrate my special day at the inn and restaurant! Loved it all especially the gas lights in the eve and the lovely courtyard. Visiting the inn was certainly worth the trip!! "
