We’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, so we were not sure what to expect, but the experience was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Joy greeted us at the front door upon arrival. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. "The carriage house was beyond our expectations! We were coming into town to visit friends and this was the perfect accommodations for our family of six! The king room was perfect for mom and dad and the four kids slept in the double room. Everything was clean and close to Hershey park. The host was incredibly accommodating to our request for a late check out and was incredibly responsive as well. We will definitely be staying there again when we come in to visit Hersheypark."

It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. I’ve only stayed there for one night on a work trip, but I got to enjoy the outdoors with a coffee in the afternoon, an amazing home cooked breakfast and a lovely chat with the owner.
