All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.
The driveway fits 4 cars depending on size and free street parking is available on a first come first served basis. Extra cars may be parked in resort lots. Guests may use the garage but may not park in it.
SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. Some examples are Brix & Columns Vineyards (2.7 miles), Cave Hill Farms Brewery (3.3 miles), Elkton Brewing Co. (5.4 miles), White Oak Lavender Farm & The Purple Wolf Vineyard (9.8 miles), CrossKeys Vineyards (12.5 miles)
The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities including Furnace Mountain (15.6 miles) and Jones Run Falls Trailhead (30.4 miles)

This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason. **

*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.
*We are not able to honor early check-in or late check out requests.

This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations as well as federal and state laws and ordinances.

This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road and if you are parking on the street, you need permission to ensure you are not parked on someone else's property. There is an overflow parking area if needed where you can be directed. Buses, campers, and RV's may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.
Fires are strictly prohibited at this property except in the designated fire pit provided. A spark screen must be used at all times and the fire may NEVER be left unattended. Fire pit may not be used during quiet hours of 10pm to 8am.
No illegal substances are permitted at the home and Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.
All Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife. Trash should be removed regularly.

This home has a gas grill - Charcoal is not allowed. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)

Turn off all lights when leaving the property

Interior locked closets are off limits to guests

Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use

Pet Rules
-We are not able to host puppies under nine months old and/or any dog that is not housebroken.
-Pet waste needs to be cleaned up promptly and disposed of properly.
-Must be crated when in the house alone.
-Stay off all furniture.
-Must have advance notice of pet on property.
-Can not be left alone outside.
-Reminder - the pet fee will be invoiced AFTER initial booking and is not included
