"We stay here when we meet my parents to go swimming and fishing on the river. The breakfast is always so yummy! They have an ice machine and everything g else a hotel would have (no tv in rooms). Great location great staff."

Great for a calm getaway
"Great little house for our winter getaway. Beds were a bit firm for me and the wife kids had no problems with them. That was our only gripe and it’s just a personal preference. Didn’t put a damper on our stay though as it was nothing a hot shower in the morning couldn’t take care of. Quaint little ..."

McCloud is a small, relatively quiet town that has not been gentrified. There a few good restaurants and bars and coffee shops that are unpretentious and serve relatively high quality food and drinks. Outdoor options abound all around.

McCloud is a magical place sitting at the base of Mt Shasta’s south flank. You won’t get a better view of Mt Shasta anywhere else in the vicinity of the mountain. The mountain is in full view. Clean water in abundance and fresh air all around!
