"I had a girls trip just me and a friend and this cabin is perfect for a simple stay in the middle of nowhere. I love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. We went and they were having a karaoke night and it was just so much fun to watch! The place was clean. It’s not a hotel room by any means so just keep in mind you are staying in a cabin. It's by no means 100% stocked with everything you might need, but if you keep things simple, you should be fine. Maybe bring a sharp knife from home, as the knife set in the block is very low quality and very dull, making some prep difficult and possibly dangerous. "Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided. "

"Cabin 3 was quite spacious, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We booked for our wedding anniversary with plans to explore the Olympic Peninsula and have some down time. Lake Nahwatzel was a great pick, since it allowed us to explore both the Pacific side of the park/forest, as well as the eastern side. The restaurant was also a nice surprise.
