"We enjoyed our time here. Very quiet. The public dock was steps away. The restaurant close by was closed, so we had to go into town for food as we thought we’d just eat there. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Shelton has some cute places to visit. The Wilde Irish Pub had excellent fish and chips and a full bar. But a lot of shops and restaurants are also closed Monday and Tuesdays. The bathtub in the primary bedroom didn’t have a water spout for a bath, which was odd. But the shower worked fine....

"We loved staying here. Tracy was an awesome host. She could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. The scenery is amazing and their pet rabbit, Smokey, is a real treat. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The house was clean, spacious and have everything you could want. The saloon out back is really cool. The only thing I wish is that we had more time to spend here."

"The cabin has a surprisingly well appointed kitchen compared to similar properties. For once I didn't have to go buy some piece of necessary equipment to get basic cooking tasks completed. It's by no means 100% stocked with everything you might need, but if you keep things simple, you should be fine. Maybe bring a sharp knife from home, as the knife set in the block is very low quality and very dull, making some prep difficult and possibly dangerous. I did find an alternate and slightly higher...

"This cabin worked well for us as a place to stay while visiting relatives at the lake. The host was quick to respond to questions and the check in process was easy. It would also be a good place to stay near the lake for someone who needed to be able to cook their own meals as there was a good sized refrigerator, plenty of pots and pans, and a hot plate for cooking."
