Enjoy all the McCall area has to offer with friends and family in this gorgeous home just minutes by foot to a quiet section of the Payette River. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking, floating the river, fishing ... whatever your outdoor pleasure, this is your base camp! Complete with ski storage area, bike maintenance stand and tools.
Fantastic great room with spectacular views of Jug Mountain and the surrounding area; four bedrooms and a separate kids' area with three bunk beds (sleeps 6) and plenty of games and a TV to keep them busy having fun when they're not outdoors.
Outdoor seating / dining on a large deck shaded in the afternoon, overlooking the valley with views of Jug mountain. Play and relax in comfort in a beautiful, quiet setting just minutes by bike or car to downtown McCall.

Wonderful Family Ski/Snowboard Holiday Weekend
We had a wonderful stay, the kids loved the downstairs living space with bunk beds and very large bean bag chair. Adults enjoyed the space, cleanliness, great views, and well stocked kitchen. We will definitely have it on our favorites list for future trips!

Beautiful location
The home is beautiful and nestled not far from beautiful downtown. The property manager was attentive and responsive. Our group loved the quiet location and the beautiful view. Everyone in our group had time to relax and enjoy the weekend. There was plenty of room for our large group. The great room and the kitchen location made meals easy.

Perfect!
Our second time to this lovely property. Fully stocked kitchen and well furnished home. Plenty of room for kids to play and sleep downstairs, while adults can gather around on the main floor. Large kitchen table that fit our group of 12. Gorgeous views from the large windows. Excellent location. The host was always available and a pleasure to work with. Hope to return for a third time.

Serenity in the Cabin
Our cabin was beautiful, spacious and accommodating for all 13 of us. Unfortunately, there were water and sewer problems that affected 3 of our 5 days stay, but our host Martin managed the problems as best he could from a distance. He also “made it right,” so that we would love to stay there again someday.

Family Celebration in McCall
The home worked well for the eleven of us. There was space for all of us to enjoy conversation, games, meals, but also to have private space with 4 nice bedrooms and the kids' area in the basement. It is a quiet, clean neighborhood and a short drive to the lake, downtown, hiking, biking, etc. We saw several deer near our house. Would recommend it for family gatherings.

Amazing Great Room with and a great kitchen
The best part about this property was relaxing with my family in the great room, which had room for all and a fabulous view of Jug Mountain. We also enjoyed the fact that several of us could be cooking together in the kitchen; it was well stocked with basics and even had nice sharp knives. The house was well-maintained and thoughtfully appointed. The house is west of the river, so too far to walk to town, if that's important to you.

Simply Amazing!
This cabin suited our family beautifully! Everyone had their own space, with additional room to spare. The view was absolutely amazing! Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. The additional room outside allowed for family fun and games. Bring your cornhole, volleyball, yard darts along with your bikes! Everything we wanted
We were having a gathering of our three adult children, their spouses and our grandkids and wanted to meet half way between Oregon and Utah. The house and area were perfect! It was a great gathering house, there was lots to do in the area - we rode the lift up at Brundage and hiked down, we played in Payette lake, we shopped the shops and dined out, we stayed up playing games and cooking meals. It was just great. Thank you for letting us rent your home. It was perfect.

Beautiful home in the mountains
We came to McCall for the renowned 4th of July fireworks and because we have family with a home there. I turned out that this house was only a few blocks from their cabin, which made get-togethers fun and easy. We were very close to the downtown and the beach, as well as golf and shopping. It was just the right size for our family of 9. Many thanks to our gracious host for supplying us with an abundance of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows and miscellaneous cooking supplies. The kitchen was awesome as was the deck and the dining table was large enough to accommodate the entire family at one sitting. I would definitely go back should we make it to McCall again.

Winter Wonderland
First off, McCall, Idaho is a beautiful town surrounded by Payette Lake. Magical in the wintertime, and gorgeous in the summertime with many things to do. This lovely home had everything we needed....Beautiful setting, amenities galore in the kitchen, beds were very comfortable...... There were 16 of us.....8 children and 8 adults. The downstairs room was perfect for all the kids to hangout, while the adults enjoyed the upstairs..... The owner was very helpful and always responded immediately with any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Beautiful cabin
We absolutely loved our stay! This cabin is great for families and bigger groups. Loved the additional space downstairs for the kiddos. Amazing view from living room. The only complaints would be that the driveway was not plowed before our arrival. Be prepared to shovel the driveway. Well stocked cabin except there were no hand towels or wash cloths in the kitchen. We had to dry dishes with paper towels. Other than that it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again!

Amazing combination of beautiful views and total comfort
Our family of 16 ages 7 to 77 stayed three nights in McCall at The Escape Hatch. The property had plenty of fine cooking and dining supplies as well as linens and paper needs. Great beds including the bunks. One consideration is that the bathroom for the ground floor serves 8 people and the access is either through one bedroom or the laundry room. We managed fine but folks might want to know that ahead of time. Everyone loved the house and we would heartily recommend. J Buckingham Pennsylvania 8/12/19

Great place (esp for larger families)
The pictures are accurate to the hm. We had a great time - this was our first experience taking Christmas on the road (we’re from Meridian) but our married kids really wanted to spend the holidays in the mtns. They all LOVED IT, and the home is very accommodating to larger extended families with smaller kids. The home always felt warm and cozy, the bathrooms and bedrooms were great, complete with newer linens and furnishings, including dishware and appliances. And yes, we were lucky to have a white Christmas.. just a little later in the day. Strongly recommend this home - we’d definitely come back. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was perfect for drinking coffee and enjoying nature. The owner was very good with communication, always getting back to me quickly. It wasn’t too far from town and the lake. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
This beautiful log cabin was perfect for our weekend trip to McCall to attend a wedding. The location was excellent, the kitchen was well-stocked, the deck was large with great views of the mountains, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The guys especially liked the ‘man-cave’ downstairs. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting McCall!
