"Great accommodations for our small family and dog as we explored Hastings County. Lots of fun in, on, and and out of the water. Jason and Susie were gracious hosts and kindly shared their knowledge the Weslemkoon area to help us get the most out of our visit. Looking forward to seeing the Eco Retreat continue to grow!"

"A great place to stay for a trip to the Mazinaw. Owner was very quick to respond to all questions. A bit on the rustic side but well appointed for a camping spot. I stayed in one of the cabins and have no complaints! The water pressure was very good. Close to the road so you get the traffic noises but waking to the call of Loons on the lake was wonderful. No TV but then who wants to spend time indoors when you have the lake 100 feet away!"

"I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper."

"My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."

"This cottage is one of a kind. It has the rustic feel of a log cabin but with all the comforts of home. There's a modern BBQ with a gorgeous outdoor space for dining. The waterfront is amazing and we enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and SUP. I would definitely love to visit again! "

"This is a real cottage! Charming and rustic, private, peaceful, and on an amazing lake. The kitchen was fully stocked, and large. The living room comfortably appointed and clean, and the beds comfortable! The air conditioner works like a son-of-a-gun, and when the humidity broke it was a pleasure to throw open all of the screened windows and enjoy the cool cross breezes off the lake! "Had an amazing stay in the wolf cabin; Exceeded our expectations! Super clean, private, and comfortable. Only a few minutes away from town which made getting around very easy.
