Kick back and enjoy the thoughtful touches of our updated Fern Hill Cabin! With an excellent location just a short 10-20 minute drive to Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man’s Cave you’re close to stunning Hocking Hills attractions. Or you can simply explore the 38 -acre property. Amenities include: hot tub, gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit patio, 2 player arcade game, Wifi, & fully equipped kitchen. Comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Guests and dogs love staying with us! Newly updated furnishings so your stay is comfortable and carefree. Please note, there is a spiral staircase from the upper to the lower level. Our charming cabin offers great perks being close to Hocking Hills attractions and some trails on our property to enjoy as well!

The cabin has an upper level that hosts the fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy fireplace area perfect for reading a book! There is a main full bath on the upper level and also 2 bedrooms, one queen with an ensuite half bath, and one full bedroom.

Down the spiral staircase to the lower level you have a large living room area with a 65" smart TV, a 2 player arcade game, board games and puzzles in the hall closet and a sliding barn door to close it off from the upstairs if you so choose. There is also a large third bedroom on the lower level with a queen bed and a full bathroom is available on the lower level as well.

Outside you have a number options: a deck off the upper level great for a morning coffee, a hot tub, a firepit patio area, a large yard great for getting energy out of dogs or children, a wonderful patio out back that has a outdoor dining table and a charcoal grill and last but not least, our woods have trails for exploring as well and highlight the beauty of nature! Our dog loves visiting the cabin, exploring the yard, relaxing on the deck, and sniffing everything possible along the trails!

What an amazing property! We loved taking our dog on the private trails and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub both nights we were there. So peaceful and private. The cabin had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal. Beds were super comfy after some hiking in Hocking Hills. The hosts were easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions. We would love to stay at Fern Hill Cabin again!

The location is nice and private. Close to many attractions. The hot tub was great! Comfy beds, lots of gadgets in the kitchen, plenty of space to spread out and relax. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful and private property. We felt very safe and loved the cute and cozy space. Beds and pillows were very comfy as well! Host was responsive to all of our needs. It is farther away from hocking hills and Logan so be prepared to drive some! However a winery is super close with great food and drinks which made it an even better time. Thanks to the host!

Nice cabin!
We had a great time at this adorable cabin! Kitchen had everything we needed. Yard was great for our pup, although all the stairs were a bit cumbersome. Nice amenities, like the game table, hot tub, and porch. Very clean and comfortable beds. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Fern Hill Cabin. My husband and I, and our pup stayed for a long weekend of hiking, reading, and relaxation. This cabin was perfect with all the necessities for making meals and enjoying our away time. Loved the hot tub, throwback arcade games, on-site trails, and the lovely view from the cabin. Excellent host!

Perfect seclusion
The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! It was very clean, stocked well, and the beds and bedding were so comfortable. The property is secluded and very beautiful! We had our family thanksgiving and it was perfect! We also loved that we could have our dogs with us, although they did not use the metal spiral staircase, we made it work. The hosts are exceptional as well and left us a delicious bottle of wine that we enjoyed. Cheers.

Great Getaway
My husband and I brought our dogs for a relaxing birthday weekend. Beds were so comfortable - down comforters and plush mattresses were amazing. I didn’t expect that the only TV was downstairs and the kitchen was up - so there was quite a bit of going up and down the staircase, and since my dogs were terrified of the spiral, we needed to take them up the outdoor deck stairs to get to the second level. Not a huge deal at all, but wanted to make sure future guests are aware. The property was private and far enough from the road, the dogs could explore without worrying there would be people or cars. I loved this getaway! Thanks to Laura for sharing a great space with us!

Weekend getaway
Stayed here with a few friends and my dog. The property was great - very clean and lots of natural light! Well stocked with items to make the trip more enjoyable. Laura was a great host, very friendly and easy to communicate with. Some small trails to explore near the house and just a short drive to hocking hills state park. We also tried the winery - just about 2 minutes up the road and really enjoyed that! Would definitely recommend !

Home is much more beautiful than pics on this site, beds very comfortable. Excellent time with family. Friends/dog at cabin 8mi away. We hiked trails, caves with our 2 dogs 65 & 85lbs. So much more to enjoy next trip. Recommend this house has everything you would need & close to places you want to see. Hot tub not bad either. Notice your voice will echo in the hollow behind home, really cool. Two minutes down the road is Le Petite Chevalier Vineyards & Farm Winery!! Excellent wines, soups, charcuterie boards. Indoor & outdoor seating with board games & chess. Views you don't want to leave all around Hocking, Vinton & surrounding counties. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great place for a quiet getaway
This was a wonderful place for 3 friends and spouses to get away for a long weekend together. Even though it rained we were able to hike several places in Hocking Hills and enjoy the beautiful setting of the cottage. The view out the front windows was fantastic!

Amazing!
This cabin is so thoughtfully laid out for a wonderful get away! Everything from the deco to the utensils is like something out of a Martha Stewart magazine! We have stayed at Fern Hills twice and we look forward to our next visit!
