"The Prospector is a real Nevada experience and is a great place to stay and a lot of fun. The decor is wildly excessive and corny, but the rooms are large and comfortable and you get the feeling that the ownership and staff really care about providing a quality experience. We really liked the free drink in the bar and we had dinner at the Mexican restaurant on-site and it was very good. That the Prospector is avidly pet-friendly and only charges a $10 pet fee sealed the deal - we loved the dog bed in our room and the treats provided for our dog. Really liked the walk-in shower as well and the large refrigerator (with freezer) in our room. It is kind of a crazy property, but it grows on you. Really - their commitment to giving you a nice stay and the enthusiastically Nevada nature of the property are a winning recipe. Great room rates, too!"

"Very pleasant stay at the Four Sevens Motel. This is an older property that has recently been renovated and is very clean. Heather, in the office, was welcoming and offered excellent suggestions for dining."

"The house was large and had all amenities we needed (the Keurig was a morning hit). Large kitchen for our family to cook and eat together. Plus the firepit for S'mores and games of Ghost in the Darkness were fabulous. Movie nights in the theater room and pool games in the rec room. Plenty of room for everyone!"

So I was very lucky to find another room down the street. I was extremely upset that this happened and I am hopping that I won’t be charged for that day."
