"No electricity at the time of check-in and before check-out. Apparently the back up generator was faulty too. Room was very hot. When i requested for a fan, i was told that they had non left. No shower gels except to small soap bars. Room appeared abit run down compared to my precious stay 5 years ago. Day 2 breakfast was limited and I had to wait over 45 minutes for replenishment."

"It was a sweet place, with kind staff , lovely grounds, and a delicious breakfast. But they had not received a reservation or payment from Hotels.com and stated that they only take payment in cash. So i had to pay again. This is the 4th time this has happened to me in Rwanda and Uganda."

"The hotel and the staff are very good. They do a good job of taking care of you and making you comfortable. The problem is that we made a paid & guaranteed reservation and when we arrived they had no record of the reservation. We had to find a different hotel because they were fully booked. That place did not work out and we had to find yet another hotel, which again did not work out because it was located next to a very loud lounge at night. We ended up back at the Dream Palace a few days...
