"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"The view of Isola Bella from the private balcony and from inside the family room with large window was breathtaking. House is very spacious with each bedroom having its own private bath & shower. Shower space is bigger than most properties in Italy and water pressure incredible. Host is very responsive and gave us a detail tour upon check-in which we appreciated. There's access to the infinite pool and private rocky beach below with incredible views. The host filled the refrigerator and cabinets...

"Es war ein wunderschöner zweiwöchiger Aufenthalt an den Hängen des Ätna mit einem fantastsichen Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Mittelmmer bis herüber nach Taormina und auf den Ätna von der Haustür. Leider stand der Pool nicht mehr zur Verfügung, sowas muß im Inserat berücksichtigt und kommuniziert werden. Unsere nette Vermieterin hat uns jedenfalls im Vorfeld darauf hingewiesen. Es fiel jedoch nicht ins Gewicht, weil wir ohnehin jeden Tag die wunderschönen Altstädte (Syrakus, Taormina,...

"Beautiful apartment, short walk to market and town. Be advised the path is very steep. We met the owner just outside of the central area, where he took our bags and drove us to the place. The apartment is well appointed but was missing some minor accessories, like shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer. We got lost after venturing out the next day, we couldnt find the exact path back, and had to call the owner for a map. It is close to the cable car and Antico Teatre. Also if you venture off...

"This villa was everything and more. It is private and close to all! Plenty of room and the pool is so inviting!! You can pick your own herbs to cook with. Relax by the beach than come back and jump in the pool! Rooms are large and open. The host was extremely hospitable. He stayed in communication with us during our stay I would highly recommend this villa. "

"We had a wonderful & relaxing stay despite the disruptions to our flights to & from Catania (airport fire). The villa was clean and tidy but 3rd bedroom did not have air-conditioning. The owners were very helpful, recommending & booking restaurants, all the way to providing home grown vegetables & fresh eggs."

The wifi was a bit challenging at times, but with patience, we were able to complete the tasks we wanted to do. Most of the time the wifi was OK. Maria and family were helpful and very friendly.
