"The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"Martine est une charmante dame très accueillante sympathique. Logement génial nous étions 10 adultes. 5 chambres dont 3 salle de bain et wc et 2 autres avec salle de bain commun idéale vu le nombre. It had a lovely orchard where the children could play freely, pick plums and apples which were later turned into cakes and crumbles as well as having a really lovely swimming pool. "A charming characterful house with amazing outdoor facilities. We had a fabulous fortnight. The house is big with plenty of space for our 3 family groups, and has a fantastic covered veranda to keep out of the midday sun. We especially enjoyed the pool, sauna, hot tub, table tennis and volleyball net. Laura is a friendly host, on hand if you need her. Would 100% recommend."
