"Great property with lovely facilities we struggled parking and there was quite a bit of rubbish just outside the hotel, but overall very good."

"The castle is a dream. Wonderful place.Stunning .Super clean. Quiet walkable city down the hill. Beautiful rooms. The only bad thing was dinner time. It’s a shame that are so short staffed. It took forever to get food and a long wait (30 min.) to get coffee after dinner. A hotel with this stature should offer an excellent service all around. "

"The hotel itself is nice enough and we would have enjoyed the outdoor areas at and near the hotel with better weather. Annoyingly, the bar wasn't open in the afternoon and we noticed quite a number of people waiting when it did open. Strangely, the bar is not accessible through the hotel when the restaurant is closed, needing to walk around the front to get to. There must have been a large party booked in to the restaurant as it was full immediately after it opened so we had to wait an hour and...

"Our room was dark during the day. The lights were very few and weak. In the morning the sunlight didn't let us sleep. The fornitures need an upgrade, the night table was broken and the wardrobe made funny sounds. But the worst was the wallpaper, broken and with many stains. The spa is very limited and expensive for what it is. The rest of the hotel is very nice, the restaurant, the patio and the employees are remarkable."

"This was a very pleasant surprise for us. What a fantastic location for beautiful nighttime strolls. The hotel is charming and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for showering, and the breakfast was first rate. I would stay here again."

"Ok for a night stop on the road. Bathroom is new and clean, linens need upgrade. Food at the restaurant is very good with an extensive menu. "

"Lovely thermal lake very peaceful and water very warm. Hotel room was adequate but I think the rooms on middle floors are probably better. All felt like needed a bit of an update. Restaurant was good and would stay here again. Staff helpful but no English spoken. "

"Food is the only downside, as you are fairly isolated you have to eat in the hotel restaurant and the choices were limited to three main entrees when we were there."

Nice hotel
