Retreat to the primary bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom for privacy and comfort. The versatile second bedroom doubles as a home office or family room, featuring a premium fold-out couch by 'American Leather', a work desk and TV. A 3 inch thick 'Tempurpedic' mattress topper is available for those who prefer a softer bed.
This is a modern well-insulated home, all rooms are heated with wall mountain infra-red radiant heaters, and are equipped with ceiling fans. Amenities include a laundry room for your convenience during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
The home boasts a prime location just steps away from the Mazama Store and Trailhead, with the Mazama Public House a short stroll away. Start your day with a coffee and pastry before hitting the trails, or unwind with a pint after a nordic ski or summer hike. For those venturing into North Cascades National Park, it's a convenient 23-minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass, and 29 minutes to Maple Pass (*drive times based on Google Maps). Getting Around:
The location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.
Getting here
May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Bluett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.

Please note that while pets are NOT allowed at Casa Nordica, in case of allergies, it's important to be aware that the owners do have a cat that accompanies them during their stay.
*Please note there is no access across neighboring properties to the river. The cabin is a short walk to the Mazama trailhead hub which offers multiple recreation trail options.
