Mayrhofen is a very nice town with special appeal to skiers and hikers. For our trip the town was a staging area for hut-to-hut hikes and it served that purpose very well.

"A lovely hotel, recently modernised with excellent spa and wellness areas. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and were very helpful. We loved the system they had for evening meals- a menu to order from at breakfast. Great choices for vegetarians and vegans too, all very tasty and beautifully presented. ..."

Well equipped apartment, with very attentive hosts - in fabulous location
"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end ..."

"Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Mayrhofen. Zum Skibus ist es nicht sonderlich weit und man ist ruck zuck an der Penkenbahn. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Hochbetten wirkten, gerade für erwachsene Personen, nicht so vertrauenserweckend. Wir haben es dem Vermieter mitgeteilt ..."
