"The hotel is in a wonderful location for a family holiday. Maynooth is a bustling town with plenty going on.The hotel swimming pool is lovely. The staff barely look at you. There's a great playground across the road from the hotel. We were disappointed with the kids club. The toys are broken or missing batteries and the activities weren't very engaging. The girls working at the kids club were very inexperienced and appeared bored. Trying to host a movie night by showing Jungle book on YouTube...

"Beautiful hotel, we were there for NYE, food was excellent however, the bar was understaffed and there were no chairs for people to sit after dinner, no staff seem to have the common sense to get chairs for people v odd was there was lots of space for them, a v expensive night away to have no seat seems unbelievable really. "There is a full kitchen available to all tenants. It is stocked with fresh eggs, milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, granola, bread for toast and much more to make mornings so pleasant! Rooms were beautiful and remodeled but still antique enough to have the old Irish feeling. Malcolm and Angela were such a joy to have as hosts. we could not have asked for a better stay, hosts, and beautiful property to walk in (gardens/open fields)"

"I had an excellent stay at Zanzibar Locke. The room was well equipped with everything I needed, including a washer/dryer and all implements for cooking. It was huge...more than big enough for one person. I appreciated that I was given the option for cleaning. The staff were always pleasant and helped me multiple times with arranging taxis and answering basic questions. It was a great base for a week in Dublin. Location was also perfect."

"Wow. I was blown away! Spotless great service huge "apartment" like rooms. Walkable to downtown right near train station. Less than a mile to Connolly station. Price was great considering. The cafe downstairs had the best food. Really enjoyed this trip with my son. Definitely would stay here again in a second! "
