"First visit back to the Jefferson in 42 years. Even more beautiful than we remembered. Meticulously maintained, the rooms are spacious with all the amenities one could ask for. A walk in closet, large bathroom with double sinks and separate shower, tub and lavatory. The service and staff are excellent from the front desk to the wait staff at Lemaire where we had a delicious meal and great breakfast. The Jefferson is what a 5 star hotel should be. "

"Excellent staff. Well maintained property. Quite a different feel (in a good way) as compared to big chain hotels. However, it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. The beds were very clean but not very comfortable. Tried breakfast from the on premises chef's kitchen two days and it was okay. French toasts were pretty good. "
