"We love the Thunderhead Lodge and have stayed in many of the rooms. We love this place. The only thing I could say negative is that the pool is no longer 102 degrees. The heater doesn’t work as well and they’ve tried to fix it but it isn’t working still. It was about 92 degrees according to the owner who’s in a law suit with the company that fixed it. So hopefully they get it back to where it was because if it’s windy outside at all during the winter, it’s unbearable to go in."

"We were so pleased with our stay - the condo was well appointed and spacious with 2 beds/2 baths and a full kitchen. The fireplace was the best! It was so nice to curl up in evenings after fun-filled days playing in the snow, and plenty of wood was provided upon our arrival. The host's instructions for navigating to and accessing the condo were spot on and easy to follow, and the carport was a nice bonus. "The inside of the condo looks like a cabin and is really nice. The outside of the building looks dingy and unkept. The location is nice and walking distance to restaurants and the general store. There were a few issues: I found an old razor on the window sill in one of the bathrooms, they didn’t have an iron and ironing board even though I was told there was going to be one and no AC (they did provide fans)."

"We really wished we could have used the fireplace. Walls are thin, as we had very noisy neighbors both nights in the condo below us.. If we had stayed at a hotel, we would have complained to the front desk. When we arrived, the smoke alarms were beeping. "
