"Great locally owned guesthouse in a great location right across from a gorgeous stretch of beach with an amazing beach club, and restaurants. I loved it because it was away from the touristy area; I felt like a real local; hardly any tourist around. The owner of the guesthouse is so accommodating, down to earth and kind hearted. The Dominican housekeeper was so friendly. I was so impressed by her coming up to me on my first morning there, introduced herself and asked if I needed anything and how was my room and stay so far; that’s great customer service. My room I swear was bigger than most NYC apartments. I loved sitting out on my balcony and enjoying the silence of this fisherman village. I can’t wait to visit again. "

"The Royal Palms was perfect. We stayed for 8 nights and had zero complaints. The apt was incredibly spacious, with a balcony where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast every morning. The bedrooms were huge, clean, and had plenty of storage for our clothes. The kitchen was fully functional—although we are out most dinners. They provided both beach towels and bathroom towels. Mary was always in communication if we needed anything and extremely responsive. All in all a perfect stay! We will definitely be back."
