"My wife and I are usually very careful when it comes to booking a holiday but somehow this one got under the radar! "Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. I was shivering but the warmer is set to 21' but they could have turn of the heating..second is that there was no sufficient towels.
