Situated on the outskirts of Matrei, you can still reach the town centre in just a few minutes and benefit from numerous shopping opportunities.
Out of the city and into nature! You can follow this slogan here during your holiday in a holiday apartment in Matrei. The variety of activities is unrivalled. From a sporting perspective, there are via ferratas, mountain bike routes and hiking trails at your disposal. The Goldried mountain lifts take you quickly up to the heights and from the mountain stations you can set off on wonderful hikes with unique panoramic views. The outdoor swimming pool in Matrei offers variety and cooling on hot summer days. There is a shady wood all around and a large, sunny sunbathing lawn in the centre.
You can also visit the Matrei National Park House or Weißenstein Castle. Directly from the National Park House you can hike the Gschlösstal, a wonderful valley head at the foot of the Großvenediger.
