il riscaldamento ( tramite condizionatore) di una delle due stanze era fuori uso per cui no n'è stato possibile utilizzarla costringendo ad utilizzare un'unica stanza matrimoniale. Il riscaldamento dell'acqua era anch'esso fuori uso e pur avvertendo la sera prima non sono stati in grado di risolvere il problema al mattino. Ingiustificabile.

Camera dal gusto antico
Ottima posizione, strategica per ogni percorso in Matera e camera enorme come in un vecchio palazzo nobiliare. Unici ostacoli da superare la ripida rampa di scale (ma è una specialità della Città a cui bisogna abituarsi) e il basso ingresso nel bagno in cui ho lasciato parecchie capocciate. Ma per il rapporto qualità / prezzo ci può ampiamente stare.

SHARED BATHROOM ONLY I have booked a four-bed room at LA PERLA DEL CORSO on august 2019 for 1 night to visit Matera with my family. I am fully disappointed about the location. The stairs to the entrance door are very dirty as well as the balcony in the room, due to the pigeons’ excrements. The room is clean however very poorly furnitured. The bathroom is shared by three rooms, and we were lucky (or simply the only naif customer to book there) to be the only room booked there and the bathroom was only for us. This information was not well evidenced in the web description, but hidden somewhere in the sub-pages. Just after we arrived I expressed my complaints especially on the shared bathroom and the manager kindly explained that each manager decides how to describe the room and the service, a legal cheat! The bathroom is in a very bad situation: - the access is through a small passage were I could not stand (I am 1.80 m tall) - no soap available - the wc tablet was not fixed, likely broken - the shower has a curtain and it is very uncomfortable We paid 123€+8€ city tax (the last paid cash without receipt yet despite it was explicitely asked and it was supposed to be sent by whatsapp) for the room only without breakfast. I have checked and a four-bed rooms by Hotel Italia ***S costed about 170€+8€ city tax for the room including breakfast. Until now, despite I have asked few times, I have not yet received the official receipt of the city tax payment

Stay away!!!!!!!!Non sono andatta perche no ho ricevuto le chiave. I was charged for the room but the owner didn't even bother to turn up to give me the keys- Ho dovuto aspettare 5 ore e dopo lui non e venuto. The owner is not to be trusted. Hotel.com informed me that the room had been reserved and payment made. The owner didn't reply to my phone calls or sms. His phone was switched off for a long time. I contacted Hotel.com for help but they replied that the reservation had been made and the room was paid¨!. I eventually made contact with owner who told me that he would be at the apartment in 30 minutes but he never turned up and didn't answer my messages. I reported the problem to Hotel.com but I notice that they still offer rooms at this place?????

Pessima esperienza, solo la posizione è ottima.
Siamo giunti nella struttura, per via del traffico, in tarda serata. Ci siamo resi conto che la struttura fosse molto fredda, quindi, abbiamo chiesto alla signora che ci ha accolto di accendere i termosifoni. Tuttavia, non sono mai entrati in funzione durante tutta la notte, pagammo il mattino successivo la mancanza con starnuti vari e non solo, dato che la rete del letto non era affatto ortopedica. Ma sorvolando tutto per amor di visitare Matera, ci recammo nel bagno, con una alquanto triste se non amarissima sorpresa, l'acqua calda era inesistente. Abbiamo lamentato il tutto, ma l'unica cosa che siamo riusciti ad ottenere è stata un'altra camera per il giorno successivo che almeno presentava un condizionatore, siamo rimasti 2 giorni senza fare una doccia...Che dire, se questa è l'accoglienza della struttura, consiglio caldamente di guardare altrove.

The worst reservation ever. Booked a room with private toilet (according to the room description) to discover when arrived that it was shared. When complained and showed the booking details, the owner changed the room description on the HOTELS. COM portal the same night. Fresh painted walls caused respiratory problems to the kids during sleep. Had to leave a window open all night to allow fresh air in the room, while outside temperature was 3 degrees C. Lots of stairs. Definitely not family friendly. Electric wires hanging from the walls. Low room security. Only a small locket is provided. Even a 5 year old could pick it. Confronted the owner for all of the above with no result. Not the slightest possibility for a refund. Only cash upfront. No credit card availability. HOTELS. COM shares responsibility in my opinion for not having a filtering/validation procedure for this kind of establishments.
