5/5 Excellent
"This is a small resort owned and run by Fijian family. It's very authentic, quiet and has beautiful settings. However it's not a "western style type resort." This is kinda like glamping with meals cooked for you. All you do is relax and enjoy the scenery :-)
The bures are spacious and built in traditional Fijian style, including bathroom. Simple but practical. Minifridge was an unexpected bonus. We didn't find any insect throughout our 4 night stay. Our neighbours though had a cockroach and some spiders visited them. But that's expected even in higher end places in this tropical environment.
Food was delicious and so well presented. They collect rain water which is safe to drink (we were fine but for our kid we treated it with tablets or bought bottled water).
Free wifi by the main building.
The trip to Blue Lagoon was a highlight. Best snorkelling spot, so many fish! ($40fjd)
The trip to the caves is worth doing too. It's about 40 min boat ride one way and it can get bumpy. ($125 fjd)
We really enjoyed our stay at Nabua Lodge. We will definitely be back!"
