Mashpee is a town on Cape Cod known for its natural beauty, including sandy beaches, views of Nantucket Sound and Vineyard Sound, and four of the largest freshwater ponds on Cape Cod. Mashpee is also close to the Cape Cod Canal and bridges to the mainland, making it a starting point for day trips to Plymouth and Newport, Rhode Island.
