"It was a lovely experience staying at Engiri. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our room was simple but spacious with a terrace to sit on. The food catered for us as vegetarian and was all freshly prepared and delicious. The outdoor seating in the restaurant was a nice place to dine. The staff is so friendly and attentive. It was great to see the occasional elephant on site. The lodge arranged our boat safari on Kazinga Channel which was a fantastic experience and so economical. Other activities like game drives are available at very reasonable prices. The Marketing Manager at Engiri deserves special mention for arranging private transport for us to reach the Lodge and for onward travel. Highly recommended."

"Would not recommend this hotel. It was very poorly maintained, with several cockroaches in my bedroom and a lot of noise from the bar/restaurant until 1am. The price listed on hotels.com is also 3 times what they charge if you just show up in person."
