"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "The house was very cozey, and convenient location. However the communication between the hostes and I were poor. As I was only told as that we need to bring our own towels and linen for bedding after we had arrive and I asked where it was!!! Very inconvenient trying to find these items in a small town, let alone after 7pm also!! Other then that, it's a lovely place to stay!!"

The family staying there comprised all ages. Whilst the chalet is certainly of a high standard, it was not suitable for families with younger kids. "Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. Il y a pas de nuisance sonore. Nous remercions...

"We stayed at this chalet with 10 guys and had an amazing time. The views are great driving can be a bit challenging, climbing the mountain but we are happy that we had a car as this small town had only very few stores. The house is nice and clean but not big. I think overall you will have a great experience!!"

Si vous cherchez une place pour une seconde voiture, ce sera en bas du village à plus de 20 min A/R à pied et avec 100m de dénivelé. "Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"

"Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. Great host- super cooperative and responsive to questions. Can’t beat the views!"
