"This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. "Went to Nicaragua with the family to celebrate my wife’s birthday (9 adults, 5 kids). Upon arrival, we were greeted by Santos, the housekeeper, who was very pleasant and hospitable. She cooked us Nicaraguan breakfast every morning which was delicious. The house was beautiful and very clean. All the families enjoyed a room which had its air conditioner. "Everything as advertised, furniture is different now, our stay was almost perfect.Two things to note and improve if possible : the wifi is very poor and the tv never worked. Other than that, amazing host and beautiful house."

"The property is STUNNING. The bedrooms with the ensuite bathrooms and AC were very comfortable. Because the design of the home is open concept, it can get dusty and tiny ants can get into anything you leave out in the open. This by no means ruined the experience for me, just thought it was worth mentioning for those not used to living in a climate like Nica's.
