"Really comfortable beds we both slept like babies!! A bit of noise but the host generously left us new packs of ear plugs!! Pool was lovely and food was good! We loved the Spivey bloody Mary’s "

"I had a great stay at the Gecko it was nice to be outside the main center for some quiet and the cocktails were excellent. The team arranged my taxi transfer to the airport so it was easy exit."

"Outside of main tourist town of Monterrico. Short walk to road for local food and tiendas. Great pool but also option for private pool which was awesome! Pathway to beach with miles of solitude along the ocean. David was very helpful with coordinating rides and answering questions via Whatsapp. Quick to address any issues with room. "

"Hotel is very nice and the rooms with AC are great (take note of other comments about the loft rooms) - it was quiet and relaxing - great pool (will do the pool rooms next time). Restaurant is geared mainly for breakfast and lunch rather than dinner. But plenty of places along the beach to try. Drinks and food are good a reasonably priced. Only thing to note (and not sure it’s on Hotels.com - and wasn’t mentioned when checked in) is if you pay by card they will add an additional 7% to the bill. Will definitely return :) "
