The nearest small town, Saint Andiol, was about 6 minutes away by car and had an excellent boulangerie as well as a small supermarket and pharmacy"

"Just returned from a lovely stay in Mouries, Provence. Rudy the owner was extremely helpful on arrival recommending some super places for us to visit. The air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the current heatwave we've been experiencing. A great boulangerie/patisserie 2 minutes on foot down the road (one of several in the town!) . Great base for our trips out to visit the region. The garden was particularly lovely to sit out in - beautifully maintained."

"The house is located a short walk (15 - 20mins) from St Remy’s lovely restaurants and cafes but is far enough for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. "We stayed here for a week touring Provence and The Camargue, the villa is ideally situated within 30-60 minutes of many places like Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, Aigues Mortes and more. We were only two but the villa can accommodate a family. We met the cleaner and the gardener whilst their and neither spoke English so a phone app like Translate on the iPhone is recommended. "We had a lovely time in this house. The owner, Genevieve, welcomed us and gave us nice tips for eating out. The house is very well appointed, the kitchen has everything we could possibly need. The living room is downstairs and it is nice and comfy. There are two bedrooms upstairs, also very nice, both with ensuite bathrooms. "A great spot for exploring Provence from. A very secluded and tranquil spot with plenty of great restaurants a short drive away. Boris and his family were very helpful and accommodating but respected our privacy at all times. The house is very traditional with no frills but it suited us perfectly. "The villa is nice, beds, AC, pool. A 10 minute drive outside of St Remu so you will need a car. The check in process was difficult and lacked proper communication about bringing your own basic house necessities like hand soap, toilet paper and garbage bags. Finding finding the wifi code was like a scavenger hunt. The property contact was not kind or helpful. Would not stay again."

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
