We loved our stay at this cabin for our family reunion. Loved the private pond, pavilion and quiet location. Close to the reservoir and Sevier River. The air conditioning worked great in the heat of the summer.
This place is remote enough to get away from people but close enough to Richfield to have amenities.
We loved this place. The stars lit up the sky at night! The constellations were amazing. The cabin has ample beds. And the pond is a major plus for groups and kids. The concrete pad is awesome too for socializing and eating. Warm days and cool nights.
Great place.
This was a nice place to stay while riding the Paiute ATV trail. I appreciate the information that the other reviewers provided because it allowed us to come prepared for our stay.
The property is a nice secluded stay away from everything else. It has an AC unit for each room which was helpful and they kept the cabin comfortable even though it was really hot outside. They have also installed a large pavilion that worked out nice for our group because there is no way to feed a lot of people inside the cabin because it only has a small living room, seating for about 6, and a small kitchen table.
There are 10 beds but they are just double beds. The listing says that can sleep 20 but that would be extremely tight. My wife and I could not sleep in the same bed comfortably. A couple of our kids were able to sleep in the same bed.
There are also showers and toilets for each bedroom which is nice.
They have a stove and a grill on the pavilion which was nice because the kitchen is very small and is not conducive to cooking food for a large group. The silverware, plates and cooking supplies are also very limited. We had brought our own utensils and cooking supplies which is good because there is only a few small pots and pans available.
We had plenty of warm water for showers when we got back from the days rides. They did only have 12 towels available and little shampoo and conditioner in one of the showers. I would definitely recommend bringing your own shower supplies and some extra towels if your group is larger than 12.
There isn't anywhere to put your garbage and we did have critters, a squirrel, cat and possibly some others get into the trash we left outside the cabin. I eventually started keeping the trash in my trailer to keep it from getting spread out overnight.
If you look at it as more of a camping cabin and come prepared with your own cooking and eating supplies you will be in great shape.
The host was great to work with. They had the place unlocked and ready for us when we got there. They didn't provide a key to lock it while we were gone but it is a pretty remote place so we weren't too concerned about it being unlocked.
As long as you realize what you are getting this is a great place to stay.
This cabin worked well for what we needed. It was a great location for access to several utv trails. It had plenty of parking around the cabin. The owner let us do our thing and check in/out was very easy.
My recommendations for if you stay here... there is no oven (so plan meals accordingly). Bring some bug spray as there were several bugs in the cabin (we were there at an unseasonably hot time). There is no inside access from the bottom of the cabin to the two rooms upstairs.
Cooking facilities were very limited the supplies provided were not adequate.
The contact with the property owner was very good very helpful. Very nice guy (owner) because of the limited size of the kitchen I would suggest a cover outdoor kitchen and some shade trees. The advertisement mentioned sleeps 20. It would be important to mention the number of beds so that we know that there isn’t 20 beds. We had 8 guys and we needed 8 beds it was good that there was 10 beds.
Overall it was a good experience
Suggest that they plan some trees for shade
This property was great! It has plenty of room, plenty of seclusion and lots of stars. The owner and manager went above and beyond. The only reason for the four-star in cleanliness was because it was very rustic and there were some bugs but nothing major. We had six kids staying for four days and they loved it. The pond was really fun. The ATV trails are very close. Town was only about 15 minutes away. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Great family vacation!!!

Lot of Beds and Lots of Stars in the sky. We were closer to the trails then anyone else.
The pictures do not at all do this place justice. Knotty pine interior throughout, AC and heat in every bedroom. Delicious fresh drinking water. The stars at night were beyond beautiful, I actually didn't know that the milky way went across the entire sky! The host was helpful and friendly and the house was clean upon arrival. We rented Atvs and were the first on the trails due to its great location. We got in late and it was dark so we were happy surprised when we woke to have mountains surrounding us on all sides,so peaceful.
