"Great for an overnight stay. Plenty parking, but watch height restriction into main bit of carpark. Our room and I think most rooms, was away from bar area and road so not noisy. Really clean, good condition, great for an overnight stay, but standard room a bit small for an extended stay. "Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...

"1st thing this isnt in Ilfracombe its combe martin which had hardly anything in it, so very misleading on hotels.com, ok, it was just a nights stop to break the trip up, wish we had knew it was a carvery as even though we was stopping there they was fully booked and couldnt fit us in, which i thought was bad service because surely they could of called us to offer us this knowing we was staying there the night, instead we had to go looking for food elsewhere and in combe martin there isnt much...

"It’s a bit hard to judge because I was there just for sleep for a few hours. Great welcome by staff. Quirky room but clean, comfortable, tv, bar snacks and most important a good stay. I like quirky so enjoyed the room! So 7/10."
