"Arrived. Phoned landlord for access code to property. Handyman greeted me. Room - basic but clean. Included fridge and 2 ring electric hob and kitchen sink, plus 1 1/2 rolls of cheap toiler roll for 5 nights/6 days. Based on a sharp hill. Car parking interesting but always left car in gear. Swimming pool compact but ok. The hill up and down from restaurant was very steep, so worth baring in mind if you have any mobility issues. Internet didnt work for 2 days. "The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"The knives and fork, the coffee maker, the water heater, they were not clean at all.Spider webs in the corners of the room.The bathroom need to be renovated ASAP. No clear area to dump Garbage. And the fact breakfast is not free is a problem. But the staff was cool and helpful "

"Best location!! This is the place to stay, near the best beaches! The apartment is great, spacious, clean and the kitchen has everything you need. It's quite noisy, 9 nights and only 3 good nights of sleep, always parties, karaoke, loud music until 3 AM. There's construction going on, so noise starts at 7-8AM. 9 nights and only us as guests in there, it was cool and scary at the same time, we felt sometimes unsafe. We didn't see any staff, but they were super kind and sweet via WhatsApp. "

"Fantastic property with beautiful view. The hosts Sandrine and Cyril are absolutely wonderful! Upon arrival, they give you a rundown of what the island has to offer on the map. They offer suggestions of places to see or where to eat, etc, anytime you ask. Lovely little vacation apartment looks out at the bay and FDF. "The house is nestled in a hill with lots of vegetation all around. Beautiful and quiet. Moise was welcoming and helpful. It is an adventure to get to the house and we were lost trying to find it. Moise was kind enough to come and find us on the side of the road to guide us to the house. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. "Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit professionellem und sehr nettem und hilfbereitem Personal. Wichtig ist allerdings ein Mietwagen, da Makaré Club idyllisch mit Pool und Wassernähe gelegen ist, Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten aber in unmittelbarer Umgebung fehlen."
