"We had a lovely stay in Gruene. The location of our cottage was perfect. Our host and hostess were kind and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed and then some. Clean, quaint and comfortable. It was a fun weekend!"

"It was a cute little cottage. We didn't think it was cleaned...and having little ones, its important. We pulled the futon out and were surprised by all the crumbs that were in the crease. Also the fans were full of dust and a lounge chair was tore. Instructions were out dated..or not for that cottage. They instructed to leave dishes in dishwasher but theres no dishwasher. Instructions did say there was a quiet time and having to wear wrist bands, and one parking spot per rental. We saw more...

"Had a nice time at hummingbird haven. Tv lost setup at 8:45 Thursday night. Tried resetting router amp with no luck. Also was emergency next door at 6:50 am Friday with strobe lights lighting my room up. But that can happen anywhere, so I’m not deducting for this. Had good hamburger from city grill and goo Mexican food by Brookshiresand good breakfast at granny b."

"The apartment was spacious with thoughtful elements for storage and convenience. The location cannot be beat with easy access to the San Marcos square with shopping, dining, and nightlife. You can park your car and walk to all of these places as well as the San Marcos river for recreation. It’s a great place to stay!"
