"The house was clean and had everything to make my stay trouble free. It is close to main road and alongside supermarket, pharmacy while a short walk to town centre. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a pleasant stay. I will definitely be back sometime. La Tranche sur Mer is a lovely place with a fabulous beach and restaurants. One sad event happened while I was there. The local supermarket was burnt down. I hope in time it will be rebuilt and people get their jobs back."

"Excellent. In dem Haus ist wirklich alles vorhanden, vor allem in der Küche. Zudem gibt es einen eigenen Schuppen für die Fahrräder, die man dringend auf der Ile de Re benötigt. Das sehr nette Ehepaar Serra wohnt direkt nebenan. Auch die Lage im Norden empfanden wir als günstig, hier sind die schönsten Strände. Also alles bestens und wirklich zu empfehlen. Dr. Klein"

"We loved our stay. It's a great location tucked away but a short way from the harbour. The check- in was made fabulous by Marie- Noelle who couldnt have been more pleasant or helpful and spoke excellent english. The house is very well equipped and was exceptionally clean. We loved the use of the roof terrace for the evening sun. The beds are very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended."

The villa was spacious, clean, well stocked with all the necessary utensils crockery and appliances you need. "Had a fantastic 10 days with the family. Our host was very welcoming. Spacious and functional house, inside and out, perfect to accommodate all 13 of us with plenty of communal areas. Ideally designed so that each of our 4 family units had their own bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. One small draw back, hot water ran out for the 6 people in the main house, despite very quick showers, but it didn't spoil the holiday. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room. "We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. "We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
