Wedding weekend
We were in Marshall for my daughter‘s wedding. The little cottage was a nice retreat after setting up and breaking down her wedding. It was close and comfortable after too long hard days of work and a wonderful wedding!

Everything necessary but needs attention to the lawn.
House was nice on the inside. Had most everything needed for the stay. The path on the property that leads to the Main Street needs mowed or a weed eater used on it. It was hard to tell that was the path described on the property details because it is very overgrown. Lots of ticks on us each time we walked that path because of the tall grass. Someone mowed yesterday along the sides of the driveway only but didn’t touch the rest of the property.

Secluded get away
Very neat, updated and comfortable cottage in the woods, quiet yet convenient to town. Loved cooking our meals in, exploring the hills and trails, and the fire pit at night. Will hope to stay again.

Great Thanksgiving getaway
Property was just as described; clean, convenient, cozy. Great to be able to walk to Marshall, convenient to Asheville, quiet, all amenities in working order, easy check-in and out. All you could ask for in vrbo. One note, heed the host's advice: the road in and the steep driveway were intimidating for us flatlanders--suggest arriving in light and taking it easy your first time.

Seemingly out of the way, and cute
It's a cute property, your own holler. The smores kit was a very nice touch, even though we had to take it for later. But great place, I saw my first legit shooting star in the midst of some fur baby trauma. Woke up in the morning to a family of grazing deer. Very nice. Very likely we'll be back to experience it in all its glory. Also very curious of the property history. The surrounding community is very inviting and welcoming.

Perfect place for exactly what we needed
My partner and I were in town with his mother and our dogs. Aside from a couple hiccups which were immediately remediated, our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this home for the privacy and location.

Quaint cottage getaway
The house was beautiful with a great open floor plan. Bedrooms were spacious and bath had a great tub and shower. The washer/dryer were great. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked with items for cooking and an awesome array of spices to use as well. There was a big back deck that was great for having early morning coffee and watching the family of deer. The trail to town was a little steep, but nothing that having a good sturdy walking stick with you wouldn't fix. Just be aware of the steep road down to the house. Loved MadCo tubing as well that was right down the road from town. Downtown Marshall was just a half mile walk to town. Great food and cute shops. Easy drive to Weaverville, Asheville and Brevard. We would definitely stay again.
