What I did not realize was the porch with the two twin beds was only screened in. Since this was the case we had a couple folks sleeping on couches. Other than that it was wonderful. "

"We had an amazing weekend at John's farmhouse. The old farmhouse has so much character and the antiques were just wonderful. Watching the sunrise every morning come over the mountain was just amazing. If you are looking to get away to a place that's quiet, peaceful and tranquil then you need to stay at John's. The creek runs through the property and is a lovely walk. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Very charming home. Lots of land and privacy to enjoy the outdoors. Even with the snow and ice, we did not have any issues driving up to the house. The ponds were frozen when we were there so we could not fish, but we really enjoyed target shooting and walking through the snowy trails. We saw lots of deer and animal trails:) The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Stores were close if you need anything. Our family had 3 adults a teenager and a pre-teen. "This was the perfect country style visit right next to the city so it fit my versatile family perfectly to bring in year 2025. Beautiful house! Beautiful view, especially the night sky. Precious horses. Only negative, very extreme, is their repellent killed my pets. I will definitely visit again, but will leave my pets home next time. "

"Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. And Laura and her family made our stay even better. The house is well appointed - fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful views from back deck. This is a wonderful location to visit so many interesting vineyards, farm stands, nurseries, and some very nice restaurants in Purcellville. We look forward to visiting...
