"Convenient location off the motorway near Kendal, less east of travelling north. Wasn’t clear if there was specific parking and couldn’t park close to doors so difficult with luggage. Rooms were a bit tired and needs some maintenance. Staff were friendly. Recommend purchasing food at the services ..."

Quality cottage and location
"Great two bedroom cottage quality fittings, well equipped, and in a fantastic location close to all of the pubs, restaurants, and shops. We used it as a base to do two long walks and then in the evening just walk out and back to the entertainment on offer."

Nice break marred by slight problems
"Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our ..."
