An OK hotel in Marseille
Studilodge is about a 10minutes walk from the St. Charles Station. The hotel itself is located in a predominantly Algerian neighborhood with lots of Arab food joints nearby. Neighborhood did not feel safe after dark. The hotel is highly secured with three password protected doors between the outside and the lobby area. Rooms are spacious enough but there is no air conditioning, just a fan. The hotel manager was very helpful and made the stay more tolerablle.

Apartment was clean & close to the train station, but a fortress to get in, no air con, so hot and noisy. I wouldn’t of expected this level of accommodation on Expedia. It’s in the lower socio area of the city & didn’t feel comfortable walking in this area at night.

It was affordable and close to the station. The room was big and well cleaned/kept. On the bad side there was no airconditioning and my room was on the ground level so I could not leave the door open. There was also a lot of noise from the neighbours.

Nice place to stay but the location is bad. There is no tram or metro. Too far from the old port.

Great place in a not so great area
The studilodge itself was great. The room was modern, fully furnished and had everything we needed including cooking pans, cutlery, towels, and extra pillows. Check in was very simple and the reception was friendly and accommodating. The local area, however, felt quite unsafe. We were 3 women and walking around the streets to go to supermarkets, etc made us feel very uneasy. I would not recommend going out after dark. The accommodation was very very secure which eased the worries a bit.

Struttura molto vicina alla stazione, con la comodità incredibile di poter entrare quando si vuole, grazie a comodi codici numerici. Bagno spazioso, lenzuola e asciugamani inclusi, televisione, frigo e cucina che include un forno a microonde. Rapporto qualità prezzo altissimo. Super consigliato.

はじめて3泊させて頂きました。ここはまるで要塞の様ですね。ドアが3つありどれも暗証番号で開きます。21:00頃着いたのですがレセプションもいなくよく分からず電話をしましたら入室方法をメールした！との事ですが来て頂きました。 よく調べると3日前ぐらいにホテルから長〜い英文で届いてました！部屋は綺麗にしてありますがやたらと棚が多い。 ハンガー釣りはあるがハンガー無し？この辺り夜の外出は出来ません！治安が悪すぎ！でも管理人さんは親切にして頂きました。また泊まるかは考えます。

Très propre, personnels très gentils, le seul démole parking surveiller dans le quartier très cher et pas moyen de se garer dehors. Le studilogde nous a trouver une solution de parking chez eux même 10 euro/jour. Merci pour ça.

Un bon rapport qualité prix, mais chambre en RDC sans ventilation pour supporter la chaleur sur Marseille. Un peu bruyant selon proximité des studio étudiants qui avaient surement le même problème.
