"This was my second visit at Hotel President. It has a large parking area and is walking distance to the centre. Basic breakfast but it was ok for us. We will definitely return to this hotel. "

"You will find that the host is wonderful and very accommodating. He takes great care in maintaining his property and the grounds. The garden surrounding the house are like an oasis. The property around the house had many seating areas wonderful for entertaining. Although you do need a car to get around, we would highly recommend this property."

"This hotel has been renamed The New Hotel Palace. It was grand, beautiful pool area, ornate lobby and sitting areas albeit somewhat dated. The staff was lovely. It was very quiet, guessing that it was off season. The breakfast was not enticing, a bit disappointing. The same foods were out for 2 mornings so there was nothing that was fresh except maybe the loaf of bread to toast. "

"I was a little worried after reading the reviews - but the hotel is actually a gem. Its location is perfect, just across from a swim pier on the ocean. It has free stand up paddle boarding SUP, as well as free kayaks and free bikes. The pool area is good, although the pool itself is a little shallow but still welcome to cool off it. It’s family run, and they were very attentive and welcoming. Only thing was that my bath towel was a little frayed at the edges. Otherwise, it was great. The room was comfortable, with a fridge, air con and a nice balcony. "
