Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Hotel in a Riad, taxi drop off, you walk in (like most). Met by Abdul who was pleasant, but then I realize he was hustling, trying to sell me tours. Turn off. I always purchase my tours before. Dont let the pictures fool you. The room was cold, damp and very small. Proof of dampness was when i picked up my money, it was quite evident. Rooms have a musty damp odor and cold with no ventilation until i discovered a window over the door and ask for it to be opened. Walls are unpainted to provide a finishing touch and moisture control. Mind you the day time temps were mild. The hotel staff claimed the hotel was recently refurbished, well probably not by a professional. I could still smell residual dust which are not good for my sinuses. I did raise my concern about my allergies, the manager who spoke perfect English looked at me as if i was a nuisance. I found some herbs in the soux which help prevented me from getting sick. Breakfast was the same everyday. If you need extra protein in your meal, you have to ask for it, eg: scramble eggs. The only positive is the location near to Djemaa el Fna
