Good for budget travel
The hotel is best suited to travelers on a budget who want a place to stay in the middle of the “action” in Marrakech but don’t need any of the usual hotel amenities. The building is old and the rooms are very minimal, but you have the essentials. Bed was decent, it has blankets, a towel is provided, and a TV. That’s it though - byo soap and don’t expect much. The downstairs has a lively bar and restaurant, and there’s a lovely roof terrace, both serving alcohol. The street outside is a bit dodgy, especially at night, but not actually dangerous for tourists as there are many police always present. Basically this is a spot to crash for a night or two for cheap, just don’t expect much and it’s fine. The lobby bar has beautiful walls and ceilings but the rooms are rather plain. Most rooms have a private terrace overlooking the street. Other guests seemed to be a mix of backpackers and Moroccans from other cities. It’s a decent enough place for young people, but I wouldn’t bring my mother there.
