"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

"We were so pleased to be in Country Cottage. It’s got the feel and character we like, so lacking in most short term accommodation. It’s quiet for sleeping in and has lovely places to sit to eat or relax in the garden and the house, whilst being close to the buzz of Brunswick, good food and great shopping. A perfect blend of the best of both worlds."

"Beautiful heritage cottage with stunning views from picture windows and furnished true to the era with very comfortable beds & furnishings. Unfortunately, the second bathroom was not clean, with dirty floor, basin & cobwebs spoiling the overall positive impression of the home. Clients of average height will struggle to reach bath towels on lovely train racks which are attached very high on the wall in both bathrooms! "I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "

"Visited in winter, too cold to meet the wombat but it was very beautiful. Despite the chill we spent hours on the back porch watching the view. Fed the parrots, and even had a possum hang out on the deck with us two nights in a row. Very clean, and very well stocked. Will most likely be back!"
